Who We are

Founded in 1999, CHILDHOPE-ZAMBIA is one of the development organizations, non-profit making organization, NGO working vulnerable and disadvantaged children  to fight poverty and improve the living standards of children  in the rural areas of Zambia. We work with children in the rural areas because mostly they do not have access  to essential  resources to improve their lives. At CHILDHOPE-ZAMBIA, we strive to alleviate poverty and champion child rights, working tirelessly to break the cycle of poverty. We believe that by collaborating with families and communities, we can create sustainable support systems that empower children to live and thrive.

CHILDHOPE-ZAMBIA operates free from religious, political, or governmental affiliations, allowing us to focus solely on our mission: to reduce poverty and enhance living standards for children in rural areas of Zambia. Our comprehensive approach encompasses a range of vital services, including Early Childhood Development and Education (ECDE), Primary and Inclusive  Education, humanitarian support, health and nutrition initiatives, HIV/AIDS, water and sanitation programs, child sponsorship, and the empowerment of girls and women and sexual and reproductive health.

CHILDHOPE-ZAMBIA assistance to the children and their communities has been long –term community development and poverty reduction. Since 1999 CHILDHOPE-ZAMBIA has been working with children and their families, girls, youths, adolescent girls, women, and other community members to impactfully improve lives. CHILDHOPE-ZAMBIA has established long-term working relationship with the Government of Zambia, communities, traditional and religious leaders .

We give consideration to the growing  capacities  of  children and their families as a vital element for  recognizing and supporting  opportunities for child participation. We put children’s rights at its center core by ensuring that children from the most  vulnerable and disadvantaged families and communities, and the disabled are not left behind for their development.

Vision Statement

The vision of CHILDHOPE-ZAMBIA is to see children that are free from poverty, hunger and have improved  living standards.
